Peep and the Big Wide World
The animated series PEEP and the Big Wide World teaches science to preschoolers. This science program is designed to attract and engage kids three to five years old. Each half-hour episode contains two stories which highlight specific science concepts, plus two live-action shorts presenting real kids playing and experimenting with these concepts in their own big wide worlds.
CEG will be working with WGBH during Season 5 to evaluate its efforts to expand the reach of Peep to Spanish-speaking families. CEG will be conducting field research and a national home viewing study to measure the impact of the new outreach effort.
